The Band

Celebrating a fresh 2009 with the legendary "Rock statt Böller" (rock beats fire-crackers) festival in the bustling hessian town of Niederweimar the young and coming band Still no Heroes was founded. Focusing on cover songs first it soon became necessary to shift the attention on writing original songs, thus paying tribute to the many different influences existing in the band. The members of Still no Heroes are spread far across Germany living in such beautiful cities like Frankfurt, Cologne, Fulda, Lemgo and Marburg, each a thriving gravity center of rock music of its own. Their career as a venerable live band kicked off at the 2009 Grashof concert, mesmerizing the crowd with "König vom Grashof", an old Rio Reiser song turned into an instant smash hit. Refusing to rest on their laurels, Still no Heroes dumped their amplifiers in early 2010 and performed a powerful acoustic session in the fabled "Waldarbeiterbar" (Lumberjack Bar), bringing their aim to get rid of the "Still no" a step closer.
